Help build the next 600,000 lines.

A small team — 22 engineers, researchers, and operators — building a self-hosted reasoning substrate. Senior across the board, deliberately. If you want to own a subsystem rather than a ticket queue, read on.

// how we work

A small team. By design.

We hire slowly. We do not believe in throwing bodies at problems. The architecture is small because the team is small; the team stays small because the architecture is good. That cycle is the point.

V1 · the bench

You sit next to the code you wrote.

Every engineer is on rotation as the responder for one capability layer. When something breaks in production, the person who built it picks up the page. No pods. No tickets through three teams.

V2 · the trace

Decisions get a signed reasoning DAG.

We treat our own architectural decisions the way the engine treats customer decisions — every meaningful call has a written rationale, attached to the commit that implemented it. The git log reads like a paper trail because it is one.

V3 · no fake urgency

We ship slow on purpose.

Two-week cycles. Wednesday integration. Friday demo. No 2 AM heroics. The architecture rewards thinking; we make sure thinking is the constraint.

V4 · the recipe is the moat

What we keep proprietary, we protect.

Everyone signs the same NDA, including the founders. The convergence layer source lives on three machines. We take this seriously because customers expect us to.
